If you run or represent a school, an anganwadi cluster, a panchayat or a community organisation and want a programme in your area, this is the most direct partnership of all.

Give a few hours a week
Volunteers are not spare capacity for us — several parts of the programme only exist because people show up week after week. What we need is consistency far more than expertise.
- Reading facilitators — read with a small group of children each week
- Translators — carry materials into the languages children actually speak
- Subject mentors — support older students in maths, science or English
- Documentation — photography, writing and field notes, done respectfully
- Professional skills — legal, accounting, design, technology, evaluation
All volunteers working directly with children go through an orientation and agree to our child protection policy.
